Refund and Returns Policy

Aspirations Inc., (“company”, “I”, “we,” "our," or “us”) provides general educational information on various topics on this website as a public service, which should not be construed as professional advice. These are our collective professional and personal opinions based on our experience in the field of Psychology. Our refund/return polices vary depending upon the product and/or service you have purchased. Please refer to the below sections to determine whether you are eligible for a refund/return. 

Psychological Services

There are no refunds on any appointment-based individual, couple, or family psychological services that have been delivered or scheduled for delivery where the client has not shown for the appointment or has not cancelled the appointment with greater than 24 hours notice. 

Credits that have been collected and held on file with the purpose to use towards any future psychological service but then further service is not conducted, can be refunded in full upon receiving an email request to accounting@asafeplacetogrow.ca, as long as these funds are not required to be applied due to a late cancellation, an appointment no-show as outlined in our consent for services contract, or any other outstanding amounts owing on account at the time of the request. 

Group services all require a non-refundable registration fee of $35 to be collected at the time of registration. All additional funds collected towards group fees are eligible for a full refund up-to 7 days prior to the group scheduled start date. Any requests for refund that are submitted after 23:59hrs on the 7th day prior to group start date will not be eligible for any refund AND the client is expected to pay for the group fee regardless of attendance.  

Membership Services

You have the right to cancel your membership at anytime. There are no refunds, reimbursement, nor partial reimbursement for membership fees regardless of the type of subscription (i.e., monthly or yearly) nor type of content base (regular or featured) upon cancellation. 

To cancel your membership, navigate to your account settings and locate the "subscriptions" section. From there, you'll find an option to cancel or upgrade your membership. Monthly membership cancellations:  Once a cancellation request has been received, your membership access will be revoked and your monthly payments halted in accordance to the next billing cycle corresponding to your date of enrolment. Therefore, you will remain a member until the enrolment renewal date in the month (or next) in which you have cancelled your membership. 

Yearly Memberships cancellations: Once a cancellation request has been received, your membership access will be revoked and your yearly payments halted in accordance to the next billing cycle corresponding to your date of enrolment. Therefore, even if you cancel your membership before your annual billing cycle, you will remain a member until your renewal date.

On-Demand Products

There are no refunds, reimbursement, nor partial reimbursement for any on-demand products or any downloadable software products. Once you have purchased these products they remain in your account to access. 

On-demand products can include any downloadable or on-line courses, e-books, workbooks, or worksheets purchased from our site.

Retail Products

Any physical retail product that has been purchased, unused or unopened can be returned for refund and/or exchange within seven days of purchase. To be eligible for return, goods must be in the same condition as when it was purchased. It must also be in original packaging. To complete your return, we require a proof of purchase.  Refunds will be denied for any product or item that is not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts due to the purchaser or if the request is received greater than seven days after purchase. If you are approved for refund, a credit will be processed and applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3 business days.  Please allow for additional days for your refund to process. If you haven't received your refund within 10 days and checking with your bank and credit card company, please email us with your concern at aspirations@asafeplacetogrow.ca.

Product items are only replaced or exchanged when the original product is found defective or damaged. The company must be notified and shown the damages within 7 days of purchase in order to qualify. 

We do not offer shipping for any replacement products. Purchased products are to be returned to our physical location at 9853 90 Ave. NW, Edmonton, AB.

Live Group Sessions

Any Live Group Session Event that has been purchased is eligible for a full refund full, minus a $25 administrative/registration fee, when purchaser has submitted a request by email for cancellation/refund received by the company up to 8 days prior to the live session event date. No refunds or reimbursement will be granted when requests are received 7 days or less leading up to the event, on the event day, or following the event.  Cancellation or Refund requests can be sent to aspirations@asafeplacetogrow.ca

If you are approved for refund, a credit will be processed and applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 3 business days.  Please allow for additional days for your refund to process. If you haven't received your refund within 10 days and checking with your bank and credit card company, please email us with your concern at aspirations@asafeplacetogrow.ca.
